Who are we?
Northamptonshire Communications Club is a new radio club set up by some amateur radio enthusiasts in Northamptonshire. The club is not just for radio amateurs but for anyone interested in radio communications. You may be an amateur already, a CB operator, listener or you may have no radio experience, we welcome all. Our aim is to promote amateur radio by way of demonstrations and events around the county as well as having regular meetings where people will be introduced to the club and join in our events that we organise.
We will be running training courses for people who wish to become radio amateurs enabling them to gain an internationally recognised qualification. The club meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at the Northampton Old Scouts Rugby Club Rushmere Road, Northampton. NN1 5RY. Thanks to everyone who attended our first meeting it was great to see such a good turn out and we hope to see everyone again at our next meeting, bring someone else along too..
